PENNY BRILL PROVED CORRECT


Below is the "Card Access Report" for Fleur Lobree. According to these times, more than 50% of the days that she was in the office, she was there before 9 AM.


As mentioned here earlier, what brought this public records request about was my challenge to Penny Brill's contention in an email to me that "normally" there was someone in Legal between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. I did not think that the records would show that and I asked her in response, "Will that be shown by a public records request for the card swipe times of your division for the last six months?" She did not respond.


Because there are no exit swipe times the only thing I felt comfortable attempting to prove by these posts was that single statement by Ms. Brill. If I had not begun today making these public records again public, the records that had been published before it was intimated to me that I was under threat of administrative sanction by the office--those records would have given a distorted answer to the question.


If Ms. Rundle, Don Horn, Jose Arrojo, and Ted Manelli had let me complete making these public records public, confirmation of Ms. Brill's statement would have been made weeks ago. Instead, now we have a meeting on Monday at which Don Horn told me last week I would be disciplined and perhaps fired. I went ahead and published today because I felt strongly that the public had a right to know. My gut instinct was WRONG and for just having that instinct I APOLOGIZE. But I was willing to let the evidence speak. The office was not. They decided to punish me and in the process kept the truth, which turned out to be beneficial to Ms. Brill, the Legal division, and the entire office, from being timely made public.
